Vinyasa yoga, in the broadest interpretation, is a method of yoga practice linking breath to movement. By coordinating the body to the breath, you can experience the poses and transitions more effectively. Most importantly, the mind quiets into a state of stillness not unlike meditation. In this workshop, we will explore Victorious Breath (Ujjayi) in connection with Vinyasa yoga. We will string together a series of postures to experience flow while still maintaining the stillness. This workshop is suitable for all levels, and in many ways is the bedrock or foundation of all variations of vinyasa yoga. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience the enthusiasm and insight of one of TriBalance Yoga’s newest returning teachers. Greg Swanson comes to us with a dedicated ashtanga vinyasa yoga practice as well an ongoing personal quest and a continuing thirst for knowledge in all areas of yoga.
