Our instructors provide personalized guidance and support to discover deeper understanding of yourself and a more personal connection with the world around you.

TriBalance yoga will reduce your stress, expand your concentration, and improve your health. It will make you stronger in more ways than you expect. TriBalance Hot Yoga

TriBalance Hot Yoga is the core of our practice: let it be the core of yours. You will sweat. You will struggle. You will relax. It's a unique, challenging yoga practice that heals, balances and exhilarates the body while also calming the mind and reducing stress. It's a cardiovascular workout that systematically strengthens and tones the muscles, builds core strength, and increases flexibility. It's a powerful combination of traditional and therapuetic yoga to help you uncover the mind-body connection through breath, allowing you to let go and become one with your inner self.

Tween Yoga

Introduce your teenager to the practice of yoga! This lighthearted class will be taught at TriBalance Yoga to encourage your child to engage in yoga in a fun, playful manner. Tween Yoga classes will incorporate a more adult approach to the yoga poses, breath and meditation, while encouraging the individuality and creativity of each Tween. We will cover the asana (postures) of yoga, but will dive into a deeper understanding of what this means off the mat. We will explore what yoga is, the history of yoga, and ideas that will translate into empowering pre-teens with self- confidence. Join the fun TODAY! Classes will be held Monday’s at 12pm along side a Tribalance Hot Yoga class for YOU to enjoy!

Karma Class

What you put out into the world comes back to you. How you live your life determines what kind of life you will have. TriBalance is putting it out there, just for YOU! New to our class schedule: Karma Class. These classes will be free to everyone and taught by new teachers donating their time. This is a non-heated class and all levels are welcome. All we're asking is that we join together as a yoga family to help our community. Help us spread the love by donating to the Schaumburg Food Pantry. Grab a friend and join us on Sunday afternoons from 1:00pm - 2:15pm. This is the perfect time to not only do what you love, but to give to those in need.

Mindful Flow

All Levels | Moderate Heat


This class is a Vinyasa yoga class suitable for students looking for a more “tranquil” Hot Yoga practice. The class is designed for anyone who wants to deepen their understanding of specific postures (asanas) or transitions (vinyasas). A few core concepts are introduced at the beginning of the class and then built into the subsequent flow. Postures are broken down using thorough instruction, props (i.e; blocks, straps… if needed), alignment tips and modifications.

Yin Yoga

All Levels | Moderate Heat


Yin Yoga combines the traditional seated yogic postures with Chinese Taoist qi theory, balancing energy flow through chakras and meridians. This class will focus on long holds in a relaxed state to gently traction the bones of the legs, hips, and spine. Long holds of floor postures with relaxed muscles will restore elasticity to your fascia, ligaments, and tendons, restoring your joints to optimum health. This is particularly helpful for athletes, because most people don’t leave sports for muscle injury, but for joint or tendon reasons. Yin Yoga balances a lifestyle of vigorous movement with stillness, calming your nervous system. It is also beneficial for those who work at a desk, as Yin Yoga helps you sit comfortably for longer periods of time. You will be able to focus your awareness to areas that are out of balance, focusing and condensing qi and prana for healing.

Slow Flow Yin

Slow Flow Yin is a complete practice combining slow mindful vinyasa (breath synchronized movement) with the gentle opening of yin postures...vinyasa targets muscle to lengthen and strengthen the body while yin tagets connective tissue (ligaments, tendons) to increase flexibility and mobility of the joints...slow mindful movement combined with focased breathing leaves the body feeling refreshed and the mind calm...could not ask for a better way to start your day.

Edge Yoga

Intermediate-Advanced | Moderate Heat


Take your practice to the edge. This workshop-style class will vary from class to class. We will strengthen different aspects of the physical practice like sun salutations, inversions, and arm balances. We will explore a variety of poses and practices to enhance the non-physical aspects of yoga like essential energy, inner fire, or awareness. Every week, you can count on balancing fitness with fun in a safe, noncompetitive environment. Recommended for students with 6 or more months' experience in yoga.

Ashtanga Yoga

Ashtanga yoga is a series of postures that flow with your breath, healing and cleansing your body while building strength and alignment. This creates intense internal heat and a purifying sweat. You'll learn breath-synchronized movement (vinyasa), victorious breath (ujjayi pranayama), mental focus (dristi), and locking energy to conquer fatigue (bandhas). You'll create an inner fire that purifies the nervous system, detoxifies your organs, and gives you a powerful stretch. You'll leave class feeling lighter, stronger, and calm.

Ashtanga Fundamentals

All Levels | Unheated


The focus of this class is to prepare for and deepen ones understanding of the system of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. We will practice the various asanas and transitions in an exploratory way. Classes will sometimes flow in an uninterrupted stream of breath and movement, and at other times be more workshop-like emphasizing details and modifications for postures and transitions.

This class is best suited for students with prior yoga practice and interested in experiencing the ashtanga flow, as well students participating in the Mysore style looking to enhance and refine the details of their practice.

12th Round Conditioning

12th Round Conditioning is a full-body conditioning class that combines cardio, stress relief, physical strength and mental toughness. You’ll explore all the punches (jabs, crosses, hooks, upper cuts, and more), combinations, and a little self-defense in each explosive workout class. Boxing conditioning is an excellent way to build upper body strength, and the speed and balance make a powerful leg workout as well. This is an ideal workout for athletes, especially those who want more speed in their hands and feet. It is also ideal for yogis who are looking to ignite the fire within.

Boxing 101

If you've ever considered getting in the ring, here's your chance. Introducing Boxing 101 to TriBalance! Everyone is welcome to come learn how to take a proper stance and throw a punch with technique. This class is designed for everyone of all ages. Take the time to invest in yourself by not only learning how to defend yourself in the proper way, but to have fun and break a sweat while doing it. Boxing 101 will be held every Monday from 8-9pm. Hot Boxing

All Levels | Heated


Combining boxing conditioning, core strengthening, and body weight exercises in a heated setting, Hot Boxing is an intense, total body conditioning class that will challenge you both mentally and physically. Boxing conditioning is excellent for improving balance, hand/eye coordination, core and leg strength, and upper body muscle toning and strengthening. You will burn up to 1000 calories, release stress, learn boxing technique...and you will SWEAT!

Cardio Kickboxing

Cardio Kickboxing is a combination of intense kickboxing and conditioning movements perfectly choreographed to high energy and motivating music. It’s the ultimate cardiovascular challenge that’s a unique blend of intense intervals, strength/endurance training, and a relaxing cool-down. Cardio Kickboxing requires no previous kickboxing experience.

Rush Hour

Rush Hour is a high intensity, high energy, strength and conditioning focused class. Build overall strength, balance and flexibility in this class designed to challenge you to your body and mind.

Bodyweight exercises, bands, suspension trainers and more, are used to help lose fat and build muscle. Modifications due to fitness level, physical challenges and prior injuries are provided to ensure a safe and effective workout for everyone. This is a great class for weight loss. Foundations

Experience the difference between doing the pose and becoming the pose. Our Foundations class covers different themes every week, delving deep into the asanas. In this class you will work on improving your alignment, balance, strength and mind. We will explore philosophy, pranayama, and meditation in every session to strengthen your practice from the ground up— because a strong foundation is essential for a strong practice. New and experienced students alike become more confident and relaxed.

Release Yoga

Release Yoga is a gentle flow yoga for all levels of practioners. It incorporates postures that stimulate the metabolism and the digestive system. The class acknowledges that excessive weight often stems from emotional stress and offers a practice based on awareness, ownership and kindness tat will help take the peace experienced on the mat into the world to more effectively manage your emotions and your weight. The class is not only for physical weightloss but also the emotional and mental weight that is carried. Release Yoga also offers weekly inspirations that can be taken off the mat to accelerate the path to a more centered self.

Core Twist

Core Twist is a total-body workout incorporating the best of Pilates and yoga! Your core is the very center of you: it protects your spine and internal organs, so protect it with strength and flexibility. A strong core improves your overall strength, agility, flexibility, and balance. You'll learn specific training methods to stabilize the lower back, pelvis, and spine, which will improve your posture and alignment. You'll enhance your movement by integrating breath. Core Twist is low-impact, gentle on joints, and suitable for all fitness levels. This class is especially helpful for lower back pain, athletes (especially runners and cyclists), and anyone who wants to tone and firm muscles wihtout adding bulk. You'll leave class feeling refreshed and standing taller!

Ashtanga Mysore Style

All Levels | Unheated


The Mysore Style of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is named after the city in India where the late Sri K. Pahttabhi Jois started this style of asana. New students begin the practice by learning the sun salutations and a few of the initial standing postures. As you begin to integrate the sequence into your memory and feel a sense of ease in the postures, we add additional poses. All students begin with the primary series, “yoga chikitsa,” which means yoga therapy. This practice heals and strengthens the body, preparing it for a deeper physical and meditative practice. Because the Mysore Style is taught in an individualistic manner, adjustments and modifications will help you progress in the safest and most appropriate way.

Prenatal Yoga

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ)

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a martial art focusing largely on grappling and ground fighting. It focuses on the principles of leverage and proper technique to obtain dominant control on the ground, and provides a greater position to resolve conflict by using submission holds. BJJ has been proven, when used properly, to be an effective method for dealing with bigger and stronger opponents and has become increasingly popular due in part to its great success and popularity in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). A student can train in BJJ for self-defense, sport jiu-jitsu (and submission grappling) and mixed martial arts competition. It has found its way into the training regimen of nearly every successful martial artist worldwide.

TriBalance for Beginners

Are you new to yoga? Then join us to demystify the mat! If you're flexible enough to get out of a car, and if you can tell your right from your left, that's truly all you need. We'll break the poses down step-by-step in an encouraging, noncompetitive environment. You'll learn the foundational yoga poses, how to use props like blocks and straps to do poses safely, and how to breathe through poses. No one ever gets to their hundredth yoga class without taking their first — take your first step here.

OM Zone Conditioning

Think you have to be in shape to get in shape? We'll change your mind – and body too. Enjoy this intense, full body workout at any fitness level. Burn fat, build confidence, get stronger. The Conditioning class brings core conditioning, endurance training, body-weight exercises, and yoga together to balance your body and center your mind. Yoga for Kids

For Children Age 5-12 | Unheated


Yoga for Kids takes a playful approach to an ancient tradition, designed specifically for school-aged childrens' rapidly growing bodies and minds. Each class will present a yogic theme in a way that children can relate to: the instructor will share stories, and guide the children to act them out with yoga postures. Young yogis will explore the breath, guided meditation, and active discussions. They will learn techniques to help them stay calm and centered in a fast-paced, stressful world. Yoga for Kids was designed by an elementary school teacher who has extensively researched social and emotional learning so that her own young yogis could have fun with their peers, exercise their bodies, open their hearts, and expand their minds. Just $5 per child!
