Suspension Training Special Series
This suspension training class is designed to build strength, stability, and confidence over time. Using bodyweight and suspension straps, participants will challenge their core, improve balance, and develop full-body strength. Each week introduces new progressions, allowing students to gradually increase intensity while reinforcing proper form and control.
The class begins with foundational movements to help participants learn how to use the straps effectively. As the weeks progress, exercises become more dynamic and challenging, incorporating greater range of motion, single-leg work, and advanced core engagement. This structured progression helps improve muscular endurance, joint stability, and overall functional strength.
Whether you’re new to suspension training or looking to advance your current routine, this class offers scalable options so every participant can work at their own level while continuing to progress week after week. First week starts with basic foundation exercises beginning with your core, then working on

The Self-Talk Workout: Training Your Mind for Resilience
Workshop Description We spend hours training our muscles, but we often leave our inner dialogue to chance. This 2-hour session treats self-kindness as a skill that you can build through repetition. Dr. K shares evidence-based techniques from latest scientific research to help you rewrite the script inside your head. You will move past the idea that self-criticism is a permanent part of your personality and learn to treat yourself as a supportive guide. This workshop is for anyone who feels held back by sabotaging stories or the weight of high stress.

Head to Toe Let's Roll- Full Body
This Month's Workshop Will Focus on the Whole Body!
Join us for a rejuvenating workshop that combines the gentle art of restorative yoga with the healing benefits of therapy ball rolling! This workshop is designed to help you release deep tension, increase mobility, and find relaxation through restorative yoga and self-massage techniques. Using therapy balls, we'll target specific areas to release tightness and stress, followed by restorative yoga poses that support deep relaxation and healing. Rolling can be one of the easiest and fastest ways to shift from a state of high-stress overload back into a calm and relaxed mode. This workshop will be full of ah-ha moments as we take common problematic areas of pain and tightness and use therapeutic approaches with rolling to ease pain, increase range of motion, and improve functional movement.
Everything is connected. Come and feel the healing power of rolling combined with some soul soothing restorative yoga. Whether you're looking to unwind, improve flexibility, or simply reconnect with your body, this workshop is for you.
All Levels Welcome. This workshop also qualifies for 2 CEU's with Yoga Alliance.

Yoga 101
Yoga 101 is a welcoming 4-week introductory series designed to help you build a strong, safe, and confident foundation in your yoga practice. Perfect for beginners or anyone
looking to refine the basics, each week focuses on an essential theme to support healthy movement, posture, and body awareness. Every class begins with a guided breathing exercise
(pranayama) and ends with a deeply relaxing,
supported Savasana.
Week 1: Countering the Effects of the Modern World on Posture
We'll explore how daily habits like sitting, screen time, and stress impact posture. You'll learn how to use yoga props for proper alignment, support, and accessibility in foundational poses.
Week 2: Warrior I; the Do's and Don'ts of Back bending. This week focuses on Warrior I while introducing safe, effective back bending mechanics. Learn how to protect your lower back, engage the right muscles, and build strength with confidence.
Week 3: Warrior Il: Finding Strength and Stability
Dive into Warrior Il as we work on grounding, alignment, and cultivating inner and outer strength. This class emphasizes balance, endurance, and steady focus.
Week 4: Twists & Balance In our final week, we'll explore safe and supportive spinal twists paired with balancing postures to build strength, stability, and focus. Learn how to twist properly to protect the lower back while improving mobility and detoxification.
Balancing poses will challenge your coordination and deepen your mind-body connection, helping you feel strong, steady, and centered—on and off the mat.
By the end of this 4-week series, you'll walk away with a deeper understanding of fundamental poses, safe movement principles, and breathing techniques - giving you the confidence to step into any yoga class with ease.

Sound Healing Meditation
Come join Shawn Buckel to experience the effects of conscious Breath work as we prepare our mind and body for a deep sound meditation.
Shawn will demonstrate and explain the simple yet powerful breathing techniques that will be exercised during the first 10-15 minutes of the session.
Once our energy channels are primed and your mind is intimately connected to self, Sonic frequencies from Gongs, Crystal Singing Bowls, Himalayan Singing Bowls, drums and more will permeate every layer of your Being to assist your return to Balance, Alignment, Harmony and peace.Comfortable clothing is recommended, bring yoga mats, pillows, and/or blankets to make yourself comfy. Avoid eating a large/ heavy meal directly prior.
Blocks and Bolsters will be provided for the seated portion of the breath work, but chairs are available to those who prefer that option.
Please plan to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to settle in as doors will be locked promptly at 6:30. If you are running late, please send a message to Shawn (847) 331-1408 at least 5 mins prior to the start time
