Woman's Circle
Join us under the full moon for a tradition as old as time, gathering in sisterhood to honor the natural cycles of the earth, the moon, and the wisdom within ourselves.
This evening is an invitation to slow down, reconnect, and step into sacred space together. Through ritual, reflection, and shared presence, we remember the ancient practice of women coming together in circle.
What to expect:
•A gentle guided arrival to ground and open the space
• A handcrafted tea ceremony, with herbs intentionally chosen to align with the energy of the earth and the stars
• A monthly women’s ritual inspired by ancient traditions and feminine wisdom practices
• A heart centered sharing circle, where we practice deep listening, witnessing, and authentic connection
Together we cultivate ritual, ceremony, and meaningful connection, creating a space where every woman is seen, heard, and held. All are welcome. Come exactly as you are.

This workshop blends a short, relatable conversation with a deeply grounding meditation designed to help you shift out of overthinking and back into your body. Together, we’ll explore energy in a practical, accessible way and learn how stress, overwhelm, and external influences can impact how we feel—often without us even realizing it.
From there, you’ll be guided through a grounding experience that supports your nervous system in settling, releasing what you’ve been carrying, and reconnecting with a sense of calm, clarity, and presence.

Sound Healing & Cacao Ceremony
Join Shawn and Brittany for a sacred Sound & Cacao Ceremony; an invitation to soften the mind, open the heart, and return to yourself.We'll begin with a heart-opening cacao ritual, guided by Brittany. As you sip this sacred plant medicine, you're invited to slow down, set intention, and gently turn inward allowing the body to soften and the heart to expand.
From this grounded and open space, you'll be guided into a deeply immersive sound healing meditation. Waves of vibration -gongs, crystal singing bowls, Himalayan bowls, drums, and more will ripple through every layer of your being. These frequencies work like a remembering, gently guiding you back to balance, alignment, harmony, and peace.
A beautiful way to celebrate Mother's Day-come with your mom, a loved one, or gift this experience as a moment of connection, rest, and renewal.
Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat, pillows, and blankets to create your own cozy space. Chairs are available if preferred. We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to settle in and honor the start of the ceremony. Doors lock promptly at 6 so if you’re running late, please message Shawn @ (847) 331-1408.
About Your Guides:
Shawn Buckel, a Massage Therapist and Yoga Teacher, brings a grounded and intuitive presence his sound healing sessions. Through a variety of instruments and frequencies, he creates an environment that supports deep relaxation, energetic balance, and inner harmony.
Brittany Brda is a Spiritual Mentor and Somatic Healer devoted to guiding others back into the wisdom of their bodies and the truth of their hearts. With a background in Amazonian plant traditions, she brings a grounded, reverent approach to working with ceremonial cacao and creating spaces for embodied healing.

THE MOVEMENT is an immersive evening of ecstatic dance, sound and human connection designed to shake loose what no longer serves you and awaken what’s been waiting inside. No choreography. No judgment. No performance. Just you, the music and the freedom to move however your body wants.

A few simple guidelines help create a safe and intentional space for movement
Barefoot on the dancefloor- grounded and present
No talking once the dance begins- let your body speak
No alcohol or substances- this is a natural high
Doors close at start time- we begin together
As the dance winds down, we transition into a deeply restorative sound bath, allowing the vibrations to wash over you and integrate whatever moved through.
We close the evening the same way we began, in a circle with space to reflect, share and integrate.

Acro Yoga Workshop
This workshop offers you the unique opportunity to interact with other yogis in a fun and challenging way. We will work in groups to create beautiful shapes using balance, strength, flexibility, and most importantly, trust. Acro gives you the chance to explore components such as core engagement, joint stacking, and maintaining a strong foundation.
Acro is a great way to build a sense of community with fellow yogis. The atmosphere is light-hearted, playful and fun! Feel free to bring a buddy, or come by yourself, as groups will be interchanged so everyone gets a chance to base, fly, and spot.

Nervous System Regulation Workshop
Most people don’t struggle because they “don’t know better.” They struggle because their bodies haven’t caught up with what their minds understand.
This workshop is designed to bridge that gap.
You’ll learn how your nervous system is driving your thoughts, reactions, and patterns in real time and, more importantly, how to work with it instead of against it.
This is not just information. This is an experience.
The workshop will include Core Regulation Breathing, Somatic Techniques, and a Guided Hypnosis to help integrate the work at a deeper, subconscious level. This is where people begin to feel the shift, not just think about it.

I’m a Licensed Therapist and Nervous System Regulation Coach specializing in trauma-informed, somatic, and subconscious work. I help people move out of patterns they understand but feel stuck in by working directly with the body and nervous system, where those patterns are held.

Restorative Yoga 2 Day Training
In this 2 day training you will learn and experience what the practice of Restorative Yoga is and why this practice is more and more needed in this fast-paced world. Together we take a look at the theory and the energetics of this amazing practice. Students and teachers will come to understand the alignment of the poses that create that state of bliss that makes this practice so special and sought after. Students and teachers will learn how different sequences can help create different desired responses in the body too! There will be a lot of learning, but even better is that there will be a lot of doing the poses as well. A great restorative teacher is a teacher who practices and values this style of yoga.
During this informative weekend you will learn:
The philosophy and practice of restorative yoga.
An understanding for the poses, the energetics and physical components of each pose
How to set up restorative yoga poses for yourself & for your students, family and friends.
Learn the value of restorative yoga through the lens of self-care and health.
Teaching methodologies of different restorative yoga classes.
A new-found confidence to teach a restorative yoga class which the world needs MORE of!
This course is for anyone that wants to learn more about this amazing style of yoga. Whether you are a teacher or a curious student you will leave with such a deeper understanding and love for this practice.
Yoga Teachers looking for continuing credit must also complete a minimum of 2 additional apprenticeship with Joy during a restorative yoga class or workshop at the studio. Teachers will receive a certificate and 10 CEU's with Yoga Alliance upon completion of this course
